The program framework: Profit, Delivery and Leadership Architecture across six weekly sessions, around the promise of CFO-level financial control without hiring a CFO

The money comes in. So why doesn't it stay?

You're billing $30K, $40K, $50K a month. On paper, the business works. But at the end of the month you're looking at the bank balance and wondering where it all went. It usually comes down to one of three things.

Making money, keeping nothing

Revenue is up on last year. You still check the bank before you say yes to anything.

Getting paid slowly

The work is done and the invoice has gone out. The money arrives whenever the client gets around to it.

Decisions without clarity

Hire someone, lift prices, launch the new offer? You make the call on gut feel, because the numbers you have don't answer the question.

Why I built this

I've sat in the CFO seat for over 20 years. I've also been the founder making money and keeping nothing.

In 12 months, I took my own firm's profit from around $150K to $420K. Not revenue. Profit. I got much clearer on what my clients actually valued and moved them to higher-value packages. I built sales around referral partners instead of chasing leads. Then I went through every fixed cost, cut what wasn't earning its place, and restructured the team.

It worked, and it meant stepping back into the business as a practitioner for a while. That's the real trade-off most founders face, and it's exactly what we work through in the six weeks: what to fix first, and what it costs you in time.

I run an accounting and compliance firm, so I see the inside of service businesses every week. The founders who keep more aren't working harder. They know their numbers and they act on them. This program teaches you to do exactly that, on your own numbers, in six weeks.

Results from my CFO and advisory work

Real businesses, real numbers.

The same work you'll do in the six weeks, done with businesses I've advised.

$750K to $1.5M

We reviewed each service line and found where the margin really was. They moved from software project development into offshore VA services, implemented it, and doubled the business.

Technology services business

$50K loss to break-even

Once they understood their numbers, they could see exactly which work was costing them money and what they weren't on-charging. Recovering those costs took them from losing around $50K a year to breaking even.

Service business

[Result] in 18 months

Performance grew over 18 months by building a business development function that brought in the right work consistently.

Financial services business

The six weeks

Know what you make. Know what you keep. Know what to do next.

One live session a week, in three stages. Each week you work on your own numbers and leave with something finished.

Profit Architecture

Know what you make

Week 1

Reveal your margin truth

What each service, client and hour actually makes you once every cost is counted.

You leave with: Your Margin Clarity Map: profit by service and client

Week 2

Stop leaking profit

Find where margin is slipping out, from underpricing and scope creep to costs nobody has looked at in a year.

You leave with: Your Profit Leak Audit, with a dollar value on each leak

Delivery Architecture

Know what you keep

Week 3

Get paid faster

Tighten your terms, invoicing and follow-up so cash lands when the work is done, not months later.

You leave with: New payment terms, invoice timing and a follow-up routine

Week 4

Control your cash cycle

See your cash weeks ahead, instead of reacting to whatever the bank balance says today.

You leave with: A cash forecast for the weeks ahead

Leadership Architecture

Know what to do next

Week 5

Know what matters

The few numbers worth watching every week, and the ones you can stop worrying about.

You leave with: Your weekly scorecard: the handful of numbers to watch

Week 6

Make CFO money decisions

Use your own numbers to make the calls on hiring, pricing and growth, the way a CFO would.

You leave with: A decision check for your next hire, price change or growth move

What's included

Six sessions, plus a full suite of CFO workbooks.

Every week comes with a spreadsheet workbook I've built. In the session I show you the technique, the same way I'd work through it as your CFO. You put in your own data, and the workbook does the heavy lifting.

By the end you don't just have answers for this year. You have the tools, and you know how to use them, so you can keep running the numbers yourself.

Also included: 6 live 90-minute sessions, a room of 8 founders, and the two-week guarantee.

How it works

This isn't a course you watch. You do the work in the room.

01

Bring your own numbers

Turn up with access to your Xero or MYOB file. I'll show you how to pull the reports yourself.

02

90 minutes, live, every Tuesday

Six working sessions at 11am AEST. We go through the week's numbers together, on your business.

03

Workbooks I've built for you

A full suite of spreadsheet tools. I show you the technique, you put in your own data, and AI helps with the heavy lifting.

04

Eight founders, no more

Small enough that your questions get answered and your numbers get looked at.

Where you'll be after six weeks

From making money and wondering where it all goes, to knowing exactly what you make, what you keep, where your cash is going and which financial decisions to make next.

Is this for you?

Built for one kind of business, on purpose.

Eight seats means I'm choosy about fit. Here's who gets the most out of the six weeks.

This is for you if

  • You run a founder-led service business billing around $30K to $50K a month
  • You're still doing much of the client work yourself and want the business to pay you properly for it
  • Your books are in Xero or MYOB, even if they're not perfect
  • You want to understand and run your own numbers, not hand them off
  • You can make six Tuesdays at 11am AEST

This isn't for you if

  • You sell physical products or run an ecommerce store
  • You haven't started trading yet
  • You want someone to do your bookkeeping or tax for you
  • You're looking for a video course to watch in your own time

Want to step back from the client work eventually? Week 6 maps out what it would take: the margin, the cash and the hire you'd need, so you can plan it on real numbers.

Questions

Which cohort should I choose?

Pick the one where you can make all six Tuesdays at 11am AEST. Every cohort covers the same program. If a cohort fills, you can still take a seat in the next one.

What do I need before the first session?

Login access to your Xero or MYOB file, and enough familiarity to get around it. You don't need to know how to pull reports. I'll show you how in the session.

I use a different accounting system. Can I still join?

[Your answer: e.g. QuickBooks, or a bookkeeper who holds the login.]

Do I need to be good with spreadsheets?

No. I've built the workbooks. You fill them in with your own numbers, and we use AI to help with the heavy lifting.

What if I miss a session?

[Your answer: are sessions recorded?]

Do my books need to be up to date first?

[Your answer. Suggested: No. Most founders' books aren't perfect, and we work with what's there. If your file is several months behind, get the bank reconciled before Week 1.]

I've done coaching before and it didn't change much. Why is this different?

This isn't coaching or motivation. It's six working sessions with a CFO, on your own numbers, and each week you leave with something finished. If it isn't working for you after two sessions, the guarantee means you get your money back.

How much time does it take each week?

The live session is 90 minutes on Tuesday. [Plus about X minutes on the workbook between sessions.]

Can I talk to you before I join?

Yes. Book a 15-minute call and we'll check the program fits your business before you pay.

How does the guarantee work?

Come to the first two sessions. If you don't feel you're gaining the financial control you came for, tell me and you get back everything you've paid. On the payment plan, the remaining payments are cancelled.

Why does the payment plan cost more?

Paying in full is $1,500. Spreading it over six weekly payments of $300 comes to $1,800. Both get you exactly the same program.

Is this the right fit if I'm under $30K a month?

[Your answer.]

Six weeks from now, you'll know where every dollar went.

CFO-level financial control, without the cost of hiring a CFO. Eight seats per cohort.
